Retail Description: Just a step below its older sibling the V9E, stands the V9 Composite Stick by Easton. Although a step below does not mean a step behind, the V9 comes to us with a similar impressive performance, and lightweight, rugged design that combines exclusive technologies to Load. Release. Velocity.
“Load” your shot with the progressive Thin Taper Tuned Flex Shaft Profile. This construction means the lower part of the shaft thins and tapers where the shaft meets the blade and the Tuned Flex Profile works with your body weight by storing energy below your bottom hand to fully load the shaft and blade. Easton knows your bottom hand is the key to releasing ultimate velocity and with the textured shaft you will load even more body weight behind your shot for a faster release and greater velocity.
“Release” starts with the Hypertoe, a design that combines a stiffened toe with a softened taper section to create more force with the same load, and finishes with the Dual Lie Patterns (E3, E28, E36) that keep the puck on the toe of the blade. Ultimately positioning the puck on the toe forces you to load the blade and create more shot velocity.
The V-Series has been completely redesigned around the correct shooting technique focusing on the puck position, blade angle and energy transfer. When you combine all aspects, it comes down to one thing. “Velocity.”
