Stick Height

  • Stick height is measured using an industry standard shaft measurement. Shafts are measured from the top of the shaft down the forehand or backhand side of the shaft, and the measurement ends at the bottom of the blade/heel.
  • For reference, stock height Senior Bauer's are 60" and stock height Senior CCMs are 61".
  • Sticks on our website are stock height unless otherwise denoted in the variant description. Sticks that are not stock height will have the shaft measurement following the flex.
  • A stick's total height (top to ground when flat against a wall) measures about 5"-6" longer than the shaft height, but this is impacted by the curve and stick type, so the shaft measurement is generally used to communicate the height industry-wide.

All Pro Blackout™ sticks are now covered by a 30-day manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase, provided through HockeyStickMan. If a stick breaks within 30 days of purchase, you may be eligible for a one-time full replacement.

To Submit a Warranty Claim:

- You must provide evidence of the broken stick.
- Submit a claim through our warranty portal here

WHAT CLASSIFIES AS A BREAK:
The following damage would classify as a broken stick eligible for warranty:

1. A complete break in the shaft or blade of the stick.
2. A partial break or crack in the shaft or blade of the stick that renders the stick unusable.

"The Pro Blackout (Extra Lite) stick has lasted longer than $200+ other named brand intermediate sticks I've previously purchased. I like the wide variety of curves and flex options on selection, no need to constantly shop around. The flex (65) and weight (400g) are exactly as advertized being mid to high end quality. Pro Blackout Extra Lite

"Good overall stick. I play beer league 2 to 4 nights a week and the stick was definitely good enough for that. Held up for a few months before a slash caused a chip. That chip is where the stick eventually snapped about a month later on a clapper. Stick still had plenty of pop in it when it broke and the blade was still near perfect. Replaced it with a prototype because I want to give it a try. Would have no problem going back to the Extra Lite, especially because they make the Extra Lite in my preferred blade pattern."

"I have no issues with the stick at all. However, what I do have an issue with is the way it was packaged. Normally when I purchase hockey sticks they are safe and secure in a cardboard box; however, my stick from Hockey Stick Man was wrapped and shipped in plastic. Although my stick was left unharmed I would appreciate further purchases being stored and shipped in a cardboard box."

Great stick - Replaced my True HZRDUS 7

"Bought the Extra Light Pro because several guys I skate with using them. I tried a friends for a few shifts and instantly liked the feel, lightness and snap. I had been using a True HZRDUS 7 stick, which I really liked but it was impossible to find anymore and the costs for newer versions was too much. I really liked the idea that I could build the stick exactly the way I wanted it so my Extra Light feels the same as my True HZRDUS. "It really doesn't compare at all to a hyperlite a fly lite or even the older vapors. Its heavy and the lie is incorrect. The kick point is high and slow and the stick itself is unbalanced. Do not recommend, just buy your Bauer."
