What Stick Does Mitch Marner Use?
Spec Check - Mitch Marner ⚔️
Mitch Marner is True Hockey’s golden boy and has been since 2016. He has been a member of the True team since the release of the True A 6.0 SBP, and since then not much has changed. When he came into the league he was rocking an 80 flex P92 compared to now when he is rocking an 85 flex p92 or on the odd occasion a 90 flex. He has been a bit of a unicorn switching between both the Catalyst and the Hzrdus line with each new stick in order to promote their newest release. This, however, changed with the release of the Hzrdus PX. He has been a regular of the Hzrdus line using the PX, the Project X, the 9X4, and more recently the Hzrdus Smoke. This stick is an interesting one as there were no international tournaments at the time of its release and you can’t find any images of him using this colourway of the Hzrdus 9X4. Only the blue colourway with the Leafs. For such a dynamic player he uses pretty bland specs, using arguably the most common curve and flex combination of 85 flex and a P92. Bland does not mean bad, all it means is that he knows this stick will perform the exact same way no matter what situation he needs it for. Having just become the fastest member of the Vegas Golden Knights organization to reach 20 points in a season I’d say he’s making the right decision to keep it simple. Do you think we will see another Team Canada Hzrdus Smoke for him at the 2026 Olympics or will he be using the unreleased True Project X Storm.
