Sean Couturier Stick Spec Check

What Stick Does Sean Couturier Use?

Spec Check - Sean Couturier

Sean Couturier has had one of the strangest runs of sticks recently. It’s almost as if he is going down memory lane, using many older model Bauer Nexus sticks like the 2N Pro, Geo, and even the 1N. Although he jumps from brand to brand and graphic to graphic he is extremely consistent with his spec selection. He is almost always sitting around 100-105 and using his own custom version of a P91 which in this case also has a max blade. His curve as you can see above is extremely similar to a p91 but with a little bit of extra curve/loft at the toe. Standing in at 6’ 4 210 pounds it only makes sense that he uses an extended length stick with a 64” shaft and a stiff flex of 105, that stiff flex also helps him on the faceoff dot. Although Sean is typically known for his Bauer stick usage he has dabbled with Warrior in the past. We have seen a few of his sticks come through our stores and they are always from the Alpha line which makes sense as he was a Nexus user with Bauer. It is however interesting that he decided to go with the OG LX Pro dressed as an LX2 Pro because we also have an LX2 Pro from him that is dressed as a Super Novium. He is currently using a Warrior Covert QR7 Pro graphic that we can only guess is an LX3 Pro build underneath.

Do you think he’ll stick with the QR7 Pro for the remainder of the season?

Or will he continue to mix in some throwback Bauers and Warriors?
