Fulfillment & Delivery Time

Oftentimes when you need a stick, you need a stick ASAP. Your go-to weapon has broken and now you need a new twig pronto. We get it! It's for this reason HockeyStickMan puts an immense emphasis on getting your new stick into your hands as quickly as possible.

We aim to have your order fulfilled by next business day, if not same day! Once your order has been fulfilled, your stick will arrive within the advertised business-day timeline for the shipping level you select.

HockeyStickMan fulfills orders 7 days a week. Once fulfilled, you will receive a notification with your tracking info to the email used to place the order. Please bear in mind, carriers generally don't pick up shipments over the weekend. In the event they do, tracking info often isn't updated. Therefore, an order placed Friday commonly won't see an update on the tracking info until Monday.

Please note:

• We ship with FedEx or UPS in most cases. To certain remote areas, Canada Post or USPS must be used to reach your area. In these cases, shipping times are generally longer than advertised.
• The advertised shipping time for your selected service is the typical timeline in business days once the courier has picked it up. You will receive a notification once we package your item, and another once it has been scanned by the courier.
• The flat rate we charge (if not Free Shipping) does not actually cover the cost of shipping a hockey stick. The remaining cost is absorbed by HockeyStickMan.
• Hockey sticks are kind of a funny item to ship due to their innate length and awkward shape.  It makes them expensive to ship just one, but pretty much the same cost to ship 2, 3, 4 or 5. Therefore, we generally charge a flat rate of $19.99 for Ground ($21.99 with Signature) and $29.99 for Express (within most areas of the United States and Canada).

Return Eligibility

1. A stick is eligible for return or exchange as long as it remains unused, untaped, and unaltered. If that is not the case, returns will not be accepted, no exceptions.
2. Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt of the item. Returns will not be accepted if the process has not been initiated within 30 days.
3. Customers are required to pay a $20 flat rate to return an item. Generally, this does not cover the true cost to ship the item, and the remainder is absorbed by HockeyStickMan.
4. In the event of an exchange, HockeyStickMan covers the cost of shipping the exchanged item back to you.
5. If a return is made on an item that does not meet the criteria outlined in point #1, the purchase will not be credited or refunded.

NEW PRO STOCK STICK

One of the major components of shopping Pro Stock sticks is that they do unfortunately come without any manufacturer warranty. This is one of the main reasons that Pro Stock sticks are generally sold for much less than their retail comparables.

Despite saving a large sum up front by purchasing Pro Stock sticks, it's still a terrible feeling having that awesome, new twig break shortly after purchasing. As hockey players ourselves, we recognize that. With that in mind, HockeyStickMan offers partial coverage on all new Pro Stock sticks as follows:

7-Day 50% Credit

Sticks broken within the first week (7 days) of purchase (or arrival date in the case of shipping) are eligible for a credit equal to 50% of the stick’s price at the time of purchase before taxes. Credit is awarded via gift card and can be used online or in store at any time in the future.

• Customers must provide evidence of the broken stick, either by bringing it to an HSM location or by filing their warranty claim with the required photos, within 7 days from purchase (or arrival date of the stick in the case of shipping). Failure to provide evidence of the broken stick within 7 days negates eligibility for the 50% credit.
• Sticks purchased with a 50% credit are still eligible for the same coverage; however, the purchase price will be 50% less, so a subsequent credit would reflect that.

30-Day Partial Credit

Sticks suffering breakage within 30 days, but outside of the one-week (7 days) coverage, are eligible for a partial credit applied as a HockeyStickMan gift card through .com or .ca sites respectively. You are eligible for the following credit:

• $199.99 CAD+ Pro Stocks – $75 credit within the first 30 days
• $100–$199.98 CAD Pro Stocks – $50 credit within the first 30 days
• Sticks purchased with a partial credit are still eligible for the same coverage

WHAT CLASSIFIES AS A BREAK

The following damage would classify as a broken stick eligible for warranty:

1. A complete break in the shaft or blade of the stick.
2. A partial break or crack in the shaft or blade of the stick that renders the stick unusable.

WHAT DOES NOT CLASSIFY AS A BREAK

A stick may have the following damage, but does not qualify for a warranty:

1. Surface marks or scuffing.
2. Cosmetic scratches in the shaft or blade that do not travel through the carbon fiber.
3. Soft or “spongy” blades that still hold full rigidity.
4. Whippy or “whipped-out” sticks.
5. A chip in the blade or shaft.

Please note, warranty only applies in circumstances of breakage during routine use. Items abused, neglected, or misused are not applicable for warranty.
