The core mission behind every HockeyStickMan project has always been to save hockey players money so we can all play the sport we love, while providing the best customer service to help you find what's right for you. 

In 2023 we launched a program with the same mission in mind called Sticks For Kidz - a program, in partnership with TEAMLTD to provide the coolest hockey apparel while donating $5 from every purchase to putting sticks in the hands of kids who need them most. 

We don't just donate the money, we go out in the community and hand these sticks out to kids who are learning to play and could use a bit of an upgrade. 

November 2024 - We teamed up with NHL Alumni Keith Acton to donate over 50 sticks to the Stouffville Try Hockey Program. These are kids aged 6-11 who want to try hockey..but not everyone had the proper size equipment, or even used the proper hand on their stick. We saw this as an opportunity to show up and actually fit these kids with proper sticks and donate extras to the program. 

January 2025 - We donated about 100 sticks to Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario, ISWO. They were then able to bring these sticks to some very remote areas where access to hockey equipment is few and far between. All thanks to you purchasing HSM merch. 

March 2025 - In partnership with the NHL alumni, the PWHL and the Oakville Hornets girls hockey program we donated 40 plus sticks to every kid in a friendly game between them and a team of indigenous girls who traveled quite a ways to play some southern Ontario hockey teams. Pictured above is our staff tapping the sticks for the girls so they could use them right away, as well as some Toronto Scepters players helping us hand them out, the players loved that part.
