Upcoming Hockey Gear for the 2025 Season and Beyond
If you're anything like us here at HockeyStickMan, you've probably noticed some players in the NHL rocking some unreleased gear that's looking pretty sweet. From sticks to skates and even a couple goalie twigs, we're going to run you through some of the unreleased gear that we've seen in the Show recently.
Sherwood Rekker Morph Pro
The Sherwood Rekker Morph Pro has been spotting being used by Alex Debrincat, Connor Bedard and Juraj Slafkovsky. The Morph Pro is looking to be the lightest Rekker on the market yet, coming in at 365 grams with what Sherwood is calling a Duo-Fire Kickpoint. Visually, the Morph Pro looks pretty sweet, with the silver, black, and neon green coming together to really pop when you look at it. Of course, the Morph Pro also has Sherwood's patented Featherlite technology. The Morph Pro is looking to be released in July of 2025. Maybe we'll get to see some white spray painted Willy Morph Pro's in the future?Â
Warrior Alpha LX3 Pro
Warrior's newest entry in the Alpha LX line, Leon Draisaitl has been rocking this stick for most of this season, and with him leading the league in goals by a comfortable margin with 52, currently 8 more goals than the next highest number (shoutout to Willy). Erik Karlsson and Mackenzie Weegar have also been seen rocking this twig. Not much is known about this twig, but the black and gold colourway is looking pretty good. The LX3 Pro will likely look to innovate on the low kickpoint Warrior line of sticks, look for this one to release later this year.
CCM Vizion Goalie
Many players like Macklin Celebrini have been using the CCM Vizion throughout the season, but the CCM Vizion goalie stick has recently made an appearance in the hands of Calgary rookie goalie Dustin Wolf. With one of the main features of the Vizion being the 6 sided shaft at the top of the stick, we're wondering if the goalie version has some sort of similar design somewhere on the shaft. Maybe near the paddle? Would definitely be an interesting move by CCM, and we're exciting to see more of this stick later this year.
CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro
First spotted in the hands of Nathan MacKinnon during the Four Nations Face-Off, the Jetspeed FT8 is CCM's next entry in the Jetspeed line. Just last night, Matthew Knies scored the first hatty with a FT8. McDavid has also been spotted testing out CCM's newest twig in his first game back from injury. CCM is moving away from the Helicoid blade technology featured in the last few iterations of the Jetspeed line in favor of something called a Soft-Stiff Evo Blade. We have no doubt that this hybrid kickpoint stick will be one of the most used sticks in the league come next season, and expect it to release to the public sometime in 2025.
True HZRDUS Smoke
Following the release of the True Project X Smoke, True is released a "Smoke" version of their HZRDUS line. A ton of different players including Mitch Marner, Brady Tkachuk, and Jake Sanderson were spotting using this twig at the Four Nation Face-Off, with Marner and Tkachuk continue to use it afterwards. The Project X Smoke comes in weighing 325 grams, so we have to assume the HZRDUS Smoke is going to have a similar weight. We figure True decided to use the Four Nations Face-Off to show off their newest twig, and we're expecting this one to release sometime soon.
 CCM Jetspeed FT8 Pro Skates
The successor to the FT6 Pro, the Jetspeed FT8 Pro skates were once again first spotted at the Four Nations Face-Off, with some pretty sweet graphics for each participating country. Not much is known about the newest CCM skates, with only Dawson Mercer of the New Jersey Devils having been spotted testing them out in the NHL. We're expecting more info to come out about these wheels soon, and expect them to be a prominent skate choice in the 2025-26 NHL season.
We should also mention Bauer's upcoming return to the Flylite branding, maybe a return of Flylite equipment or a whole new thing with Flylite branding? These and all the upcoming gear for the 2025 season and beyond has us pretty intrigued, and of course if you're in the market for some new pro stock gear at prices you won't find anywhere else, you can shop all of our Pro Stock Equipment at HockeyStickMan today!
